Next Step?

To the gentlemen who participated in the Thurs AM DVD’s and discussions:

I ran into Joel N. this evening and was pleasantly reminded of our times together seeking…Seeking what? I believe that question would have different answers for each individual who was there. For myself, there is unfinished business. Last semester, for those in school, was a step but only a step. i believe there is more to this journey and i am calling those who are insterested in travelling farther in this journey to take the next step.

To be honest, i am uncertain what direction the road is heading; it is a journey into the unknown. That does not matter though, it only stirs my heart, mind and soul to the possiblities of God moving and transformation occuring.

I am prepared to start seeking and listening to God through prayer and would like to invite those interested in doing the same. I am open to finding a day, place and time that is accomodating so please respond with your comments.

Thanks and God bless,

Aaron

I'm totally up for finding a day/place/time to get togeather. I've really been feeling the need to meet and chat with you guys again. It funny because I'm the one who developed this blog/forum for this very type of conversation, and I really don't comment or post very often. I find myself know that I want to say in my head, but not being able to articulate it. And i would really like to be able to listen and converse with you guys on a regular basis. I don't know what's next or even how to get to the next step, but it's the only thing that I have found that sits right with me.

Yeah, I'm good to go. Let's find a time. I am good almost every evening after school, so you name it, I'm there. Maybe while we figure this out we can already start to pray on our own as to what direction God wants us to take here.

well…i initially bought those DVD's with the intention of watching them with my boys…gentlemen who merely have surrendered their hearts to the grace and love of Christ, and embraced his leadership over their lives. i enjoyed meeting together and watching, and sometimes talking about the ideas that were presented. i think aaron speaks of forming something different, however, than simply watching some film and thinking about what it presents and how it shapes our thoughts and ideas. aaron, unless i'm confused, seems to be speaking of finding time to pray together…to join each other in unity and oneness of heart to search the Spirit of God and His leading on not merely our own individual lives, but also that of our church, beulah, the direction we anticipate of the church universal, and authenticity in our tangible and daily life in christ. i believe with my whole heart that the place to start is in prayer…purposeful and passionate prayer, expectant on God to move. video is nice…but in many ways, its just filler. so lets pray. my apartment is always open. mornings especially. evenings suck because of work and life. mornings are early, but at least many of us can find the time. anyways…it's an idea.

Hey guys, morning won't work at all for me. I will be teaching in a couple of weks and need to be at school by 7:30 every day, so if it is morning then I'm out. I wouldlove to be there though so if there is another time that would be great! I am free every evening except friday cause of 98a.

i was thinking possibly doing it on sundays. it would be tough to do on weekday mornings so for myself sunday is probably the best. what do people think about that? early afternoon?
