crazy comment spam
this doesn’t really apply a whole lot since most people who read this blog don’t comment. i’m just not that controversial i guess, LOL. anyways, i’ve been getting a ton of comment spam over the last little while, and i just don’t have time to implement a proper spam blocker at the moment. as well as i’m planning on switching to WordPress for this blog in the fall, which has a fantastic spam blocker. so temporarily i have shut down comments. if you would like to comment on something please send me an email.

the 2008 Beijing Olympics kick off tomorrow, so i thought putting up some pictures of Beijing from my trip last year would be appropriate. for all of you techies out there, these images were shot on film… what! film!?… yup, on my trusty Konica Hexar that i take on my travels. the color images are Fuji Velvia 100, and the b/w are Kodak Tri-X 400. enjoy :)

chase jarvis rocks!
i haven’t had any time to write in that last little while. i’ve been swamped with work.
so i thought i’d direct to you one of my favorite photographers, who is totally helping the young guns, like me, learn through his blog. i’ve mentioned his blog before, it is filled with fantastic resource on shooting, packing, and lately a great post on how to handle a client who keeps changing the scope.
chase has become one of the photographers on my daily blog list.chase is one of the only photogs who holds the title of nikon legend and hasselblad master at the same time. and he does all with a smile!
check him out!
