2010 is coming to a close. this year has been a good stepping stone to the next with some fantastic new clients, a better grip on where things are heading, and a renewed sense of creativity. i’m excited to see what 2011 has to hold.
i decided over Christmas that it was time to purge a few of my cameras that i no longer use and pickup something that would serve as both a good everyday camera and possibly shoot some short films on. i never thought i’d be saying this, but i bought an Olympus; the E-P2 to be precise. i was chatting with a friend earlier this week and we both would have never imagined owning an Olympus camera (he has an E-P1). the images quality is really good. high-ISO may not be as good (or even close) to my D3 but it’s really not the purpose of the camera. and the best part, it’s smaller than my Hexar. i’m really enjoying shooting with it. it’s been in b+w mode for most of the time, though i just realized that LR3 doesn’t retain the b+w effect. anyways. here’s a picture of the always stylish Shiv.
Happy New Year everyone!!!! see you on the flip side.
