wine, bubbly & the new Jacqueline Conoir boutique
i was invited to the launch of the new Jacqueline Conoir flagship boutique & studio last night by the always bubbly Natalie. it’s was a party right from the get go with champagne and wine flowing out of the bottles. i really like Rozemerie’s tailoring and attention to detail. i wish she designed a menswear line, or even just a mens jacket or two. i absolutely love the jacket in the black & white photo below. if there was a size big enough for me, i’d probably buy it.
i also thoroughly enjoy button-up shirts on girls (like the boyfriend-shirt dress). i really like this take on the shirt.
the night kinda ended like this, as any good party should.

i thoroughly enjoyed shooting street fashion back in March. wandering the streets of Vancouver looking for the most stylish people is a great way to spend an afternoon. it definitely takes time and dedication to be on the street everyday; as Mr. Shuman says in an interview “those few hours to find one or two good pictures.” here are a few of my favourite outtakes from the Pacific Centre 30 Days of Fashion campaign. thanks to all of the fine Vancouverites that let me take their picture, and everyone who followed the 30 days. more pictures after the jump.
